Summer seems to have returned here in the Uk finally. We used the So Refreshing Bundle in Class today.
I chose a soft colour combination for these cards, Fresh Fressica, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Boho Blue and Granny Apple Green.
The so refreshing dies has such fun elements to them. There are two different vases. One cuts out the stamped vase in the stamp set and the other one cuts out a large vase with a slit in it to pop in the bunches of flowers. How fun is that! The Boho Blue card is a larger one at 7″ x 5″ and I stamped three of the flower sprays, cut them out using the matching die and slipped them in the vase. I added two of the die cut leaves in granny apple for a fuller effect and sat it on a table cloth another fun die in the set.
This is a Bay Window Style Card. The larger one ends up as a 6″ x 6″ card and the smaller one ends up as a normal base card size.
You can see how it pops up here, the side flap just tucks under the panel on the righthand side to hold its shape. I used the Scallop Contours Dies for the layers and added some sponging behind the images using the Decorative Masks called Artistic Mix.
For the smaller Bay Window Style Card which I designed for my Bloomin’ Buds Team Summer Craft Day I used the flower spray as a wreath, cut five and add them to the large stitched circle after stamping the sentiment in the middle in basic grey.
A very simple lemon card for the next one. Aren’t the lemons so cute?
I stamped the jug in basic grey and the lemonade in lemon lolly and the slices in daffodil delight then the ice cubes in boho blue.
For the last card I thought would be a perfect card for a Summer Birthday with the flowers in Fresh Fressia and Bubble Bath. The table cloth was cut in boho blue, its very pretty its actually embosses the die cut at the same time it cuts it.
